HAPENZ is an appetite stimulant and growth promoting formula,
which not only improves appetite but also has associated benefits.
IMPROVEMENT OF APPETITE
HAPENZ contain Alpinia galanga, Trikatu, Foeniculum vulgare
and Emblica officinalis. These ingredients having carminative,
stomachic and cholagogic effects; work synergistically to
directly act on the stomach and enhances its functional activities.
They increase tone and movement of GI tract and promote bile
secretion leading to stimulation of appetite, increase food
intake, improved digestion and assimilation. All these ingredients
improve the functional effects and promote weight gain.
The added benefit of the presence of Trikatu is that it acts
as a bioavailability enhancer. It increases absorption of
other ingredients in the formulation thus enhancing the therapeutic
effect of the product.
IMPROVEMENT OF IMMUNITY
HAPENZ contains Withania somnifera, which is an excellent
immuno-modulator. It activates the immune system cells such
as lymphocytes and also significantly enhances the total white
blood cell count, red blood cell count, platelet count, bone
marrow cellularity as well as alpha esterase positive number,
phagocytic activity of peritoneal macrophages and haemoglobin
concentration. Withania somnifera strengthens and nourishes
various bodily systems enhancing over all levels of immunity,
and provides defense against diseases. Withania somnifera
possess anti-stress, antioxidant and immuno-modulatory properties.
It also improves the nutrition and strength of the children.
IMPROVEMENT OF COGNITIVE ABILITY
HAPENZ also contains Bacopa monnieri, which is a brain tonic
and memory enhancer. CDRI (Central Drug Research Institute),
Lucknow has done extensive studies on Bacopa monnieri and
proved that it increases protein kinase activity and protein
synthesis in those areas of the brain cells concerned with
learning and memory. Human clinical trials also show that
Bacopa monnieri enhances cognitive and intellectual abilities.
HAPENZ –SAFETY & EFFICACY
Pharmacological studies shows that Hapenz is non-sedative
& non-toxic. It significantly increases bile secretion,
improves food consumption, promotes weight gain and improves
cognitive functions & helps retention of memory.
